BRAINSTORMER is the annual inter-college/school quiz competition organised by Phoenix, the official tech-club of Netaji Subhash Engineering College. Since its inception in 2007, Brainstormer has seen a rise in the number of enthusiastic participants every year, with students from schools and colleges across West Bengal participating. Last year Mr. Kinshuk Biswas was the quizmaster of the event .

This year, we have decided to take Brainstormer to a completely new level by inviting students of schools run by NGOs to participate, with the hope that this will provide the students from marginal backgrounds to mingle with the mainstream. While the senior students of the NGO schools will be participating in the quiz competition, the junior students will be putting up a stage show. The participating NGOs are IPER , SANLAAP , etc .

This year Brainstormer will be held on 11th September,2011, at Khemka Hall (auditorium of Ballygunge Shiksha Sadan), Gariahat from 2p.m onwards. Mr. Gautam Ghosh will be conducting the quiz. It is open for undergraduate and classes IX - XII students. Each team can consist of a maximum of three members from the same school/ college. The good news is that there is no entry fee! RJ Praveen is our chief guest this year We are looking forward to your active participation so as to make the event successful.
