Phoenix is the official tech-club of Netaji Subhash Engineering College. It was established in 2006 under the able leadership of a few seniors of the college (seven to be precise). Starting from just seven, in two years, Phoenix has grown to be the tech - hub of NSEC with a membership of over 200 students from various streams, and a full hierarchy of management.

Phoenix was started as a platform where students can take help regarding the various problems they face in their professional lives. Regular Soft Skill classes are conducted so that people can improve themselves and be ready & confident on the day they face the interviewers.

Together with Brain Stormer, Phoenix also conducts Avénir, the inter-college technical festival of NSEC.
